An annual international olympiad in economics, finance and business for high-school students. Uzbekistan is one of the IEO's long-term (3-year agreement) partner countries and has taken part since 2019; Uzbek pupils compete through the national team formed by the Fan olimpiadalari markazi.
The IEO tests economics and finance through a 40-question multiple-choice test, a set of open questions (4 of 5 graded) and a business case presented in English before a jury. Countries take part through national partner organisations that run a selection and send a team of up to 5 contestants with 1-2 team leaders. Uzbekistan is listed among the countries with a 3-year agreement, and the Science Olympiads Centre lists the IEO among the international olympiads Uzbekistan takes part in.
