The CIMC (grades 9–10) and CSMC (grades 11–12, CÉGEP) run on the same day and mix short-answer and full-solution problems. The top five official participants in Canada receive plaques and $300 (CIMC) or $500 (CSMC), at CEMC’s discretion. Free CSMC preparation workshops are offered.
