The contest has 40 multiple-choice questions in 75 minutes, covering organic chemistry, equilibria, kinetics, redox, bonding, reactions, solutions and gases. Participants receive certificates of distinction or participation, and top students in Canada and the US are recognized by Waterloo. Results are not used for admission.
