The contest has 40 multiple-choice questions in 75 minutes, covering structure of matter, bonding, reactions, solutions and gases, with a few demanding questions. Participants receive certificates of distinction or participation, and top students in Canada and the US are recognized by Waterloo. Results are not used for admission.
