Run by the Royal Society of Chemistry, the UK Chemistry Olympiad uses unfamiliar contexts to test problem solving with A-level-type chemistry. Every participant receives a certificate. The strongest students are invited to Round 2 and a selection camp, from which four students represent the UK at the International Chemistry Olympiad.
