IZhO is organised by RNPC Daryn and the Republican Physics and Mathematics School with the support of the Ministry of Enlightenment. Each subject is scored individually and the team ranking is the sum of members' scores; the best schools receive diplomas. Tasks may be done in the participant's native language, and the working languages are Kazakh, Russian and English.
