IRIS is a supervised group research program for high-school students. Students read academic sources, choose a question, prepare an annotated bibliography and abstract, learn research methods, develop an outline and draft, review peers’ work and present a final paper. An academic instructor leads live sessions, with teaching-fellow office hours and individual research meetings. The current winter timetable includes computer science and mathematics, economics, genetics, neuroscience, AI, engineering, politics/international relations and entrepreneurship/business. Research is a central supervised activity rather than only a sequence of lectures. Journal submission support does not guarantee publication or any admissions outcome.
