An annual team problem-solving and maths quiz competition for A-Level maths students from Northern Ireland schools, held at Queen's University Belfast. The 2026-27 event is provisionally on 30 November 2026 with registration said to open in October 2026.

A day at the University of Liverpool's Central Teaching Laboratories for Year 12 students, choosing two practical workshops from chemistry, computer science (including AI and robotics) and other STEM subjects. Held on 22, 23 and 24 June 2027, at 8 pounds per student.

A weekly £40 Education Maintenance Allowance for 16 to 18 year olds from lower-income households in Wales who stay on at school or college. Applications for 2026 to 2027 are open and accepted until 31 August 2027.

An annual youth ensemble that learns folk tunes by ear, meeting on Sundays at Cecil Sharp House in London for ages 11-19. The autumn term is underway but newcomers can still join through a free trial session.

Free two-day non-residential subject taster summer schools at the University of Surrey for Year 12 students, in chemistry, computer science and health sciences. The 2027 cycle has not been announced.

A competition for teams of girls aged 12 to 15 to design and build robots, supported by King's College London engineers and scientists, running from November to April with in-person visits to King's and school visits by King's students. Schools can apply from June 2027.
